Alex Karev absolutely one of the characters who grew up on this season ( a lot)... After Rebecca, his psychotic girlfriend, leaves him, he's kinda confuse to find. Where is the love and who? As flashes are going before his eyes, he couldn't think any better. And then come another lonely soul. It is her, Isobel Stevens. So his past is again interfering himself. So, it is true that true love will never go anywhere else, at least when she's just two rooms away... No matter what they called it, best friends or whatever.
Alex: Listen. You had that heart patient and it reminded you of Denny and how bad you felt when you were lying on that bathroom floor. I get that! I get that you're scared. But you're not going to have to feel like that again. Because I'm not going to die, Izz. And I'm not gonna cheat on you, and I'm not gonna go anywhere! 'Cause, I think you're my best shot at...
